Double Meaning: Using techniques of poetry
in writing fiction
Marilyn Bowering
Saturday Sept 27th
9am -12pm, $50
Marilyn Bowering will take you through
an experiment—an attempt to generate a
novel outline by applying poetry techniques
to a piece of apparently virtueless prose.
Please bring an imaginative and open mind,
writing paper and pens and no more than a
half page in length of undistinguished prose.
If you have a fabulous idea for a novel bring
that instead.
