NATURE//COSMOS was composed and recorded in tandem with one full year of lunar cycles. Working from her cabin/studio in Winlaw, BC, Rhoneil composed approximately one song per lunar cycle. During this process of deep listening and observation, Rhoneil fully immersed herself in the landscape and skyscape of the Kootenays. The end result is an album that encompasses universal themes of birth, growth, death, and decay.
On Friday, July 8th, at the Oxygen Art Centre, Rhoneil will be performing NATURE//COSMOS live, as well as, sharing an artist talk and a short film. Join us for a performance that is both ethereal and rooted in place.
Project funded by CBT & CKCA
