Oxygen Art Centre is participating in #GivingTuesdayCA alongside more than 90 countries worldwide, rallying around one unifying theme: TOGETHER WE … GIVE, THANK, STAND, HELP, HEAL on Tuesday, December 3, 2024.
We have experienced a time of unprecedented need, and also witnessed unprecedented generosity. Canadians responded generously from the beginning of the pandemic, and GivingTuesday is a time for all Canadians to celebrate generosity and continue to give together.
Like many other arts and culture organizations, Oxygen Art Centre witnessed drastic cuts to funding this year. We are seeking support through donations, membership, and volunteerism this holiday season, at this vital time, to sustain our operations and expand our offerings. Your support will contribute to a wide discourse on the state of the arts in Canada. Your commitment in any form demonstrates vital services that arts and culture organizations like Oxygen Art Centre provide within our immediate and wider communities.
As a registered charity and artist-run centre your donation directly supports arts programming in the West Kootenay across our Exhibition & Residency and Education programs.
Oxygen Art Centre is a rural artist-run centre that provides space and programming for artists and the public to engage in the creation, study, exhibition and performance of contemporary art in all disciplines.
Unique in its structure, Oxygen is an integral and long-standing cultural hub for artists of all disciplines, professional and non-professional (including youth) in the West Kootenay and the Columbia Basin, providing meaningful professional development opportunities for regional artists, many of whom have gone on to have robust art careers.
Donations over $40 receive a charitable tax receipt. All donations will directly support the artist-run centre continue offering accessible and experimental arts programming. Consider making a contribution today !
