Low-tech Printmaking with Natasha Smith
Explore the basics of low-tech printmaking and investigate processes that can be done without the use of a printmaking press. Simple plate-making and image transfer methods will be demonstrated and students will learn a variety of printmaking techniques including: basic relief printing (lino cuts & speedycut), collagraph (printing from collaged plates) & monoprinting (one of a kind prints). This is a very popular and fun, process based course and is appropriate for artists of all levels.
