    Low-tech Printmaking with Natasha Smith Explore the basics of low-tech printmaking and investigate processes that can be done without the use of a printmaking press. Simple plate-making and image transfer methods will be demonstrated and students will learn a variety of printmaking techniques including: basic relief printing (lino cuts & speedycut), collagraph (printing from collaged plates) & monoprinting (one of a kind prints). Over one hundred miniature globes were created from discarded glass, trash, and winter road salt. Each globe could be taken away by gallery visitors at any time as long as they left something behind of equal or greater value.
