Oxygen Art Centre offers a range of events throughout the year.
The Author Reading Series hosts artists’ talks, book launches, author readings, performances, panel discussions and more.
The Masterclass Series presents contemporary art professionals, writers, and curators for a free, public talk and weekend-long workshop. The Series is dedicated to an exchange of ideas concerning the contemporary arts, as well as the communities from which the art appears and the communities the art intends to reach.
The Big Draw – Community Open Studio events commenced in Fall 2019, offering three Sunday afternoon events for anyone, regardless of age or experience, a space to draw. Facilitator Anita Levesque transforms the gallery into a drawing hub, responding to a theme with various means to draw and mark make.
Oxygen Art Centre hosts–the now (in)famous–Cabarets every other year. This not-to-miss event brings together performance, theatre, spoken word, poetry, writing, film, and everything in-between for a two-day extravaganza in support and celebration of Oxygen.
Oxygen also hosts regular artist talks, panel discussions, and other intermittent events alongside our regular programming. Sign-up for our newsletter to stay in the know!
