What: Ad Hoc Sculpture

Responding to weekly prompts, students will create 3D forms using found objects and recycled and natural materials. Drawing on the natural world as inspiration, together we will explore making sculptural forms with methods such as wire armatures and willow branches. Students will experiment with different ways to create volume using papier mache, tissue paper, cloth scraps, and recycled objects. This class will be an experimental journey into the world of three-dimensional artistic practices.
